Sunday School Reflections

"I really enjoy coming to the adult Sunday School class taught by John Herrmann. John has evidently spent a lot of time each week preparing plus he appears to be lead by the Holy Spirit each lesson. I have really learned a lot by participating in the class."

"Without much Biblical instruction while growing up, I can honestly say that I have learned so much from attending adult Sunday School classes at Grace. And I thank all the teachers and my fellow peers for teaching me!"

Study with us

For children and youth:

Summer Sunday School continues each week through August 17th. Middle schoolers will study “Scary, Gross, and Weird Bible Stories.” For the high school there is the Sizzllin’ Senior High Summer Sunday School Sampler. Preschool through grade 5 will meet together.

During the school year we have classes for children ages 3 through high school. We provide a nursery during Sunday School and church for younger children.

For adults:

Choose one of these adult education classes on Sunday morning:

  • Augsburg Quarterly Bible Study (Meets in Classroom 3) Images of Christ
  • Topical Studies - (Meets in the conference room behind the fellowhip hall and pastor's office) A Life Worth Living, a study of Phillipians

All classes meet at 9:45 during the school year, at 8:45 in the summer.

Sunday School Reflections

"When it is time for the worship service to begin, I know that I can find my son still in his Sunday School class talking in depth with his teacher about some aspect of the lesson for that day. His teacher often greets me with the words, 'These children are amazing!' What more could I ask for as a parent regarding Sunday School...my son doesn't want to leave and his teacher thinks he is wonderful!"
