The Evangelism Committee seeks the fullness of life in Christ for all people by introducing Him to those who do not yet believe and by welcoming believers to grow closer to Christ in this community of faith. They work with the pastors to develop a program of evangelism through which members of the congregation can reach out to others, both within and outside the community of Grace, to help them to strengthen their faith through personal witnessing, fellowship and special programs.

Responsibilities

• Invite people to visit and join our congregation
• Welcome and follow-up with visitors
• Assist the pastors in prospective member training
• Provide sponsors and programs to help new members become involved in congregational activities
• Provide an encouraging ministry to inactive members, promoting their regular attendance at worship services, the Lord's Supper, stewardship, and congregational activities
• Organize interest groups for fellowship (ex. Hiking, gardening, quilters)
• Provide informational brochures and web site on the mission and programs of Grace
• Provide for the membership pictorial directory and photo board
• Advertise the ministry and programs of Grace
